PowerChord stands in harmony in our opposition of injustice, cruelty, and systemic racism in our society.  We recognize that diversity and inclusion are so important.

Our words are important but our actions going forward are even more crucial. We commit to better educating ourselves, promoting positive change, and supporting our colleagues of color and their communities.  As a company and nation, we are facing a moment of communal pain and responsibility – most importantly accountability.

Quality – We commit ourselves to quality education when it comes to our understanding and acting upon how we can further support all racially diverse communities. 

Unity – We will not sit idle. We commit to uniting as a company to develop a diversity plan to help identify community initiatives, education, training, and hiring. 

Innovation We will embrace change with a dedicated mindset and challenge ourselves to transform our hiring and communal “give back” processes to account for the change necessary; PowerChord will be part of breaking the racially divided mold starting today.

Integrity – We remain steadfast in our beliefs to embody a great culture, one that cannot be accomplished without a diverse workforce.  We are proud of our strengths when it comes to gender equality and sexual orientation, but there is still work to do in bettering our workforce diversity.

Collaboration – In an effort to make an impact we will be working alongside the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and other local businesses to not only listen and learn but to do the work required to enact change. In addition, we will be working with local law enforcement on opportunities to volunteer as we stand firm in supporting our local police community.
