PowerSocial Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PowerSocial, a social media content distribution and management platform operated by PowerChord, Inc. ("PowerChord," "we," "us," or "our"). PowerSocial includes our website, application, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or otherwise using PowerSocial, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.

1. Service Description

PowerSocial enables brands and their authorized locations to manage and distribute social media content across connected accounts, including Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts.

• Connect and manage social media accounts through authorized integrations

• Create, schedule, and publish content to connected accounts

• Distribute brand-approved content across multiple locations

• View engagement and performance metrics

• Use AI-assisted caption generation

• Manage users, roles, and permissions

Available features may vary based on subscription level, role, and connected platforms.

2. Account Registration and Access

2.1 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

2.2 Roles and Permissions

PowerSocial uses role-based access controls. Your access level is determined by your organization’s administrator, and you agree to operate within your assigned permissions.

2.3 Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated.

3. Connecting Social Media Accounts

3.1 Authorization

When you connect a social media account (such as a Facebook Page or Instagram Business account), you authorize PowerSocial to access and act on that account on your behalf.

You represent and warrant that:

• You are the owner or authorized administrator of the account

• You have the authority to grant PowerSocial access permissions

• You consent to PowerSocial publishing content and retrieving data on your behalf

3.2 Credential Management

PowerSocial securely stores access credentials required to maintain connections to third-party platforms.

• Credentials are encrypted at rest

• Used solely to perform authorized actions

• Subject to expiration or revocation by third-party platforms

• Periodically validated to maintain connectivity

You may be required to reconnect accounts if credentials expire or are revoked.

3.3 Disconnection

You may disconnect accounts at any time. When disconnected:

• Stored credentials are permanently deleted

• Publishing and data retrieval immediately stop

• Scheduled content for that account is canceled

• Historical content and reporting data may be retained

You may also revoke access directly through the third-party platform.

4. Content and Publishing

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload. By using the Service, you grant PowerChord a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and publish content solely to provide the Service.

4.2 Content Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for all content published through PowerSocial. You agree that your content will:

• Comply with applicable platform policies and guidelines

• Not infringe on intellectual property or privacy rights

• Not contain unlawful, misleading, or harmful material

PowerChord does not pre-screen content and is not responsible for user-generated content.

4.3 AI-Generated Content

PowerSocial may provide AI-assisted content suggestions.

• AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only

• You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before publishing

• PowerChord makes no guarantees regarding accuracy, compliance, or suitability

4.4 Media Storage

Media uploaded to PowerSocial is stored using secure infrastructure and accessed through controlled mechanisms.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to all content you upload.

5. Platform Availability and Dependencies

PowerSocial relies on third-party platforms, APIs, and infrastructure.

• Functionality may change based on third-party updates

• We do not control third-party systems or policies

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation

• Data availability and accuracy may vary based on platform limitations

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to distribute spam or violate platform policies

• Connect accounts without proper authorization

• Circumvent platform restrictions or safeguards

• Reverse engineer or misuse the Service

• Use the Service in violation of applicable laws

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by third-party platforms.

9. Additional Terms

These Terms supplement PowerChord’s general Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict, these Terms will control solely with respect to PowerSocial.
